L’Atomium

The L'Atomium is an emblematic monument of Brussels, built for the 1958 Brussels Expo. Comprising nine spheres linked by tubes, it represents an iron crystal enlarged 165 billion times. Visitors can access five of the spheres, one of which offers a panoramic view of the city. The L'Atomium houses permanent and temporary Brussels Expo events, as well as a restaurant. Renovated in 2006, it is now a national symbol, attracting over 600,000 visitors a year.
