Description
The Dublin post-punk band The Murder Capital explores the darkest corners of society, wielding the visceral intensity and cathartic power of post-punk as their signature tools. They released their first single, “More or Less”, in 2018, which quickly became a hit. With the anticipation growing around them, the band began work on their debut album, “When I Have Fears”, which was released in 2019. Produced by Mark Ellis, the album addresses the pain of losing a friend to suicide. When it came to writing a sequel, they knew they needed to evolve. They moved to London for six months, and this resulted in their 2nd album, “Gigi's Recovery”, released in 2022, which explores an even wider range of emotions.
