Plaza de Pontejos
Plaza de Pontejos in Madrid is a place famous for its sewing and haberdashery stores, as well as for the fountain dedicated to the corregidor Joaquín Vizcaíno. It is also known for the building that inspired the novel "Fortunata y Jacinta" by Benito Pérez Galdós. This square has existed since 1841, when the Cloister of San Felipe was demolished.
