Oosterkerk Concert Hall

The Oosterkerk Concert Hall, built in 1671, is a monument of Amsterdam maritime history and served as a Reformed church until the 1960s, when decay led to closure. After long vacancy, the church was saved and restored, thanks in part to local residents. The building has a symmetrical shape and bright, spacious central space. The understated interior, with heated blue stone floor, creates a comfortable atmosphere.
